About Nunnery Signs
After a successful tour of duty in Vietnam with the U.S. Marines, Larry returned home to Houston. He began his working career but still maintained his lifelong desire to participate in a career relating to some aspect of Art. Consequently he enrolled in Texas Academy of Art. In 1977 he successfully completed his course of study and ultimately was hired by Schuler & Wohlt Sign Co., one of the largest commercial sign companies in this area at the time.
Based on the great experience he received, during his tenure at Schuler & Wohlt, Larry started his own company approximately 5 years later in 1984. And of course the rest is history. In 2009 Nunnery Signs is celebrating 25 years of service in the Houston area. Still working, growing and looking forward to servicing the needs of a broad range of customers in the Houston and surrounding areas.
His son cody joined him in 2005 after graduating from Cypress Ridge High School. He is currently attending Lone Star Community College and is between his sophmore and junior year.
